Research on Cham History in Malaysia

This paper is an attempt to provide an overview of the development of research on Cham studies in Malaysia by investigating the origins of
such studies, which can be traced to the study of Vietnamese history. Mainly through the perspective of Cham-Malay relations, the paper will also consider the development of Cham studies, which is an important area of research in terms of the interests of the country.
