Omega-2 Cygni is a star in the constellation Cygnus. It is a double star about 500 light years from Earth, consisting of a magnitude 5.44 star of spectral class M2 and a 6.6 magnitude star of spectral class A0. The stars are 256" apart and can be seen in binoculars. Because of the color contrast (red main star and blue companion), it is a beautiful object for amateur astronomers.

In Star Trek, Omega Cygni is a star system and planet, in or near Federation space, and home to the Cygnians. A medical paper published by the 23rd century explored the diseases that have been known to affect the respiratory system of Cygnians.
