A Ferengi host greets a guest by saying, "Remember, my house is my house." The guest responds "As are its contents." We call this world, the Swamp Retreat of the Grand Nagus. Ferenginar was a damp, clammy world, a climate loved by its inhabitants. Various objects inside the home belong to the Nagus, including desiccated remains from a previous Nagus, a photo of Moogie, the Nagus throne and staff, a copy of the Rules of Acquisition, and, of course, gold-pressed latinum.

The first thing you notice on entering, this world is the rain. The house is modeled after the inside of a Ferengi home, seen when Quark visited his mother. What is presumably the capital city can be seen in the distance, and there is a cave high up on the hill visible latinum and other treasures. The entire compound is probably hidden with a cloaking device, since no Ferengi would leave latinum out in the open.
