Nibiru is a M-Class planet, the home of a preindustrial society, visited by the Enterprise in Star Trek: Into Darkness. Besides, an active volcano, this planet features red foliage rather than green. It is yet another place where the crew famously violated the Prime Directive by stopping the volcanic eruption and allowing themselves, and the Enterprise, to be seen by the natives.

In this world, we had to find trees and rocks and objects that would reflect the red lighting back. Photographs were used to show the ancient remains of what looks like a pyramid, as well as the Nibirans themselves, who can be seen peeking out of the shrubbery.
